IN YOU

One thing I have always desired and prayed for, is to live every second and minute of my life in the consciousness of the ability and power of He who is in me, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1John 4:4).

The devil is never tired of making believers to underestimate the ability and power of God who lives in them. He adopts his devices to distract the believer from the fact that God dwells in them; he thrown up atmospheres of fear to repress the believer's faith and confidence in God.

Dear friend, let me raise some points here, which I know will help you understand where you stand as God's redeemed. First, "Ye are of God...". God owns you and will never leave you to suffer destruction and torments from the devil. Just like every property owner will guard his/her property jealousy against damage, so will God do to His property which you are as a redeemed saint.

Second, "Ye are of God, little children...". God does not only claim His ownership over you, He also calls you His little child and will not allow you lack any thing not to talk of defence, just like good and responsible earthly parents will do their little children. 

Third, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome then...".  As God's own children, you are covenanted with a lifelong and eternal experience of victory over all works of evil plotters against you and particularly, the devil's work against God's own purpose for your life. 

Fourth and perhaps the last here, "...because greater is He that is you, than he that is in the world". This aspect reveals to you the secret of the eternal victory believers are covenanted with. The Great God, the Almighty God, the Eternal God, the Everlasting Father, the Creator of Heaven and earth dwells in you. It needs not be mentioned that God is Greater, far much greater than the devil that rules this sinful, depraved and wicked world and He is IN YOU, What is left?

Beloved, you are not just an ordinary being, you are supernatural because you carry in you the supernatural God who can never be  depressed and defeated.

YOU ARE NOT JUST ORDINARY;
YOU ARE BEYOND DEFEATS;
YOU ARE IRREPRESSIBLE;
YOU ARE INDOMITABLE;
YOU ARE NO SMALL BEING;
YOU ARE NO JUST SOMEBODY; WHY? 

BECAUSE GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN YOU..., I MEAN YOU.

 LET US PRAY FOR NIGERIA!   (DAY 2)   "And seek the peace of the city...and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace." Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces...I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good" (Psalm 122:6-10).
