Righteousness: A Divine Perspective

Image
WHAT IS RIGHTEOUSNESS?   "Righteousness is standing before God with approachable peace and standing before the devil without fear" Having received a demand for "more explanation" on the above Response: πŸ‘‡ I appreciate your demand for further explanations, kindly read πŸ‘‡ We often take it literally that being righteous is to do this right. However, it is more than that in the light of walking with God. God is righteous and to walk with Him we must be made righteous by His son Jesus. Let take a look at 2 Corinthians  5:21, it reads, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." Our righteousness is of Christ and not of the flesh. We may purse  earthly righteousness and not be recognized in the courts of God as been righteous. Scriptures says, "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the ...

Understanding the difference between 'Divine' and 'Spiritual'

Image
DIVINE AND SPIRITUAL: ANY DIFFERENCE? Receiving this from one of our post where the reader pick the quoted aspect...you may read our preceding post to this to understand the context properly.πŸ‘‡ "...action cannot be divine talk less spiritual", what's the difference sir. I mean 'Divine' and 'Spiritual'. Thank you sir. Our Response:πŸ‘‡ I commend your interest to search things out. God bless your heart! Beloved, anything divine is exclusively an act of God, such thing or experience is a product of God's sovereign prerogative over creation...this things often happen without our inputs and they are always marvellous in our sights...we wonder and know deep down within us that it was never our making. That's divine! On the other hand anything spiritual will demand our inputs in terms of our submission, consecration and involvement with the Spirit of God. In short, man can not produce anything Spiritual towards God without engaging the Holy Spirit of God fo...

The dealings of the CROSS and the believers separation from the world

THE CROSS AND OUR SEPARATION FROM THE WORLD   Here is the response to one of the feedbacks received on yesterday's post on PRICELESS TRUTH πŸ‘‡ "If our hearts are not separated from love of the world, our soul life has not yet submitted to the dealings through the CROSS."   I decided to share this here also, feeling it could be instructive and helpful.   Feedback : "Good morning sir, how do you mean sir?"   Our Response :πŸ‘‡  Thanks for checking this out and attempting a meditation... 😁I am glad you commented! Permit me starting this way. Our heart is the initiating point of our words, actions and thoughts either good, bad, sensual or pure. This has made it one of the devils crucial point of suppressing the christian and keeping him out of terms with God. Once the devil succeeds in influencing your heart; your thoughts, decisions, reactions and affection can not be divine talk less of Spiritual. This is why so many Christians are not experiencing full victory over...

What grieves the Holy Spirit?

Image
SELF-SERVICE TO GOD & GRIEVING THE HOLY SPIRIT Here is the response to one of the feedbacks received on yesterday's post on PRICELESS TRUTH πŸ‘‡ "A side sin, the Holy Spirit is greatly grieved when we engage divine labour and service based on our inclinations."   I decided to share this here also, feeling it could be instructive and helpful.   Feedbacks : One of the feedbacks reads, "...please shed more light..." another wrote, "I can't understand..."   Our Response :πŸ‘‡ Thank beloved! We see in scripture, "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God..." (Ephesians  4:30). The Bible instructs us against grieving the Holy Spirit and what many would like to know is, what grieves the Spirit of God or in what way can someone grieve the Holy Spirit? Basically, we understand that whatever offends God, ultimately grieves His Spirit. Sin offends God, hence when we who are God's children with His indwelling Spirit falls into the devil's trap of...

On the Labour of God's Appointment

Image
THE LABOUR OF GOD'S APPOINTMENT Here is one of the feedbacks on the above post on PRICELESS TRUTHπŸ‘‡ " Doing God’s work is actually good, but doing the labor of God’s appointment is truly commendable."   "I am not very clear about the meaning of the labour of God's appointment...How is it different from God's work? Or is it not part of God's work? Please enlighten me."  I decided to share this here also, feeling it could be instructive. Our response πŸ‘‡   Thank you sir!  The labour of God's appointment is a work for God that is not just fuelled by mere zeal and personal capacity to get things done. It is a labour which is based on specific and timely divine order.  Many work for God because they can offer the service continuously without a heart to trust or time to wait on God the master of the work. They work without sincerely seeking to know the will of God for them in working for Him in His veinyard; rather they keep labouring for God according...
