ASK!!! (1)

"Ask Google" was the response of a young lady to the unending questioning of her friend. Demanding answers is the core function of questioning. The existence of a body of knowledge is a product of scrutiny which is often made possible by knowledge based enquiry. On a light note, from childhood, man is fond of asking; we ask for material needs most times from our parents, demand relief for our health needs from the doctors, nurses or pharmacists; and of course our intellectual and cognitive agitations are fixed by our teachers, guardian and sometimes studying. Funny but true to know, we now live in a digitalized generation where we are now fond of asking Google, Yahoo, Bing and a number of search engines hosted on the world web.

The point here is, our existence is akin to asking. Perhaps this will hold water, "Asking is Living". Our needs and wants has subjected humanity to an asking/demanding culture. You will discover that communication and relationships are bond in communication; "communication itself is asking"- we communicate with ourselves by demanding one thing or the other from ourselves.

I like to let you know that God, the creator of man is well aware of this human drive asking, that is why He exhorted us to look up in time of needs, wants and help " I will lift up my eyes unto the hills [up to Heaven] from whence cometh my help(answers and solutions). My help(answers and solutions) cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth." (Psalm 121:1,2).

You see, God has made provision for every asking of man, it is only painful that man has refused to look up and ask for help. While God is expecting man to ask, man has focused his attention in finding answer and solution to his needs, wants and desires within and around himself where no help resides. The scriptures drops this indisputably, "...A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven" (John 3:27).

Beloved,  let this be apparently settled within you, the perfect answers to all our asking and demanding can only come from God. Hence, instead of finding solutions where you will get falsehood and deception, why not look up and ask from God. Look up and ask concerning your finances, healing and health, deliverance, dominion, peace and success; everything you need to lead a fulfilled life comes from God. 

James 1:17 concludes it all, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning."

Look up, Ask and Find help!

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces...I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good" (Psalm 122:6-10).
