NO OTHER POWER!

The story of one despotic African herbalist would continue to attest to the unquestionable and limitless  power of the one and only Almighty God. The man took hostage of a particular village in South western Nigeria. Every villager practically feared him because of his wicked act and often jungle justice against his offenders and enemies, he was said to take what rightfully belongs to others and afflict them for it. 

An occasion of one of his show off of power and wickedness, two young Christian brothers visited the village under undescribable circumstances.  After his display demonic power, the young brothers challenged his actions and stood against what he was demanding for. The herbalist got furious at the challenge he got from this young man and promised to strike them. 

He angrily displaced into his shrine, made his enchantments, incantation and sent his evil arrow to these brothers. While the arrows approached these young brothers, they issued commands and decree in the name of Jesus. 

You know what? The arrow went back to the herbalist in his shrine and struck him dead. That was the end of the wicked old African herbalist.

Telling this story is to show that even though realities may point at the existence of other powers in the world; I stand to tell you the truth which superceds all realities, that is, "God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God." (Psalms  62:11). 

I choose to stress this here,  There is no power in any other but in this one God- The Almighty and creator of the Heavens and earth. Again, all other manifestation of power are mere tricks and devices of the devil; at most, they are dependent on the same one God who owns and control all power.

Beloved, don't you think God permit some things to happen, such as hardnesses of that African herbalist spoken about earlier, so that God limitless, supreme and sovereign power may be made manifested through you as in the case of those young Christian brothers. Your afflictions, oppression, depression, the attacks and others from the devils club are not to rule over you; you are to exercise the greatness and unlimited power of against it. 

Hear the very words of Jesus  "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." (Luke  10:19).

There is no POWER in any other, but in this one God- The Almighty.

NIGERIA! LET US PRAY_02

 LET US PRAY FOR NIGERIA!   (DAY 2)   "And seek the peace of the city...and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace."
