FINISHING WELL (1)

While we were in the primary and secondary school, we were quite familiar with the phrase "repeat". This is used to described the measure taken by the school to ensure that pupils and students are taken through the learning experiences and achieve expected outcome they need to navigate from one academic year to the other. A total twist when we got to the higher institution, the usage of the word and act of "repeating" classes suddenly fades away. Students failure at this educational level will no longer retain them in a previous academic class but will puncture the eventual academic attainment of such student at the expected end of the academic programme. I believe you know that between the secondary education and higher education lies certain requirements to be qualified for movement into the next educational level (higher institution); again student that will not finish the first educational level well will not benefit mobility into the second or next level.

Beloved, to be eligible and qualified for your next level it is pertinent to finish the current or present level well. Your finishing well in the present level will grant you a peaceful and safe landing into your next level. Permit my adding this, your present as a great deal of influence on your next (future).

That we are coming to the end of the present year is not in anyway unpopular, specifically now when we are just left with a few days to end the last month of the year. This is the time when people (purpose driven ones) try to evaluate their performance (achievements and delinquencies) in the course of the year to measure how far they have gone in achieving their set goals for the present year and also to develop new goals based on priority for the coming year. Am sure you are doing this already; if not, create time for this before the year raps up. It will be helpful.

In scriptures, we can clearly mention the names of such ones as Elijah, Enoch, Paul and more importantly, Jesus that finished well. In fact, Paul stated this " I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith...do thy diligence... (2 Timothy 4:7-9). Jesus also expressed his this way "...I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do" (John 17:4). We have to finish well, we already have that example, it is a divine as well a necessary expectation.

However, one thing I like to emphasize here is, even though you already assessed yourself and it appears you have not measured up to your expectation; well, I like to say, we are only close to the end of the year with very few days but not yet over with the year. I mean, you could still double up your diligence with prayers and faith to be able to confidently say on the last day of the year, just like Paul said, "I have finished well". Believe with me, not considering the challenges and difficulties that might have hindered you this far, just take up the challenge, despite the few days ahead in the present year, YOU, I mean this very YOU can still still finish well; believe this, I say, YOU will finish well; and now I am declaring in Jesus name, YOU must finish well!

As for me, I refuse to reckon with the rushing, pressure and 'pause-less' nature of time, my challenging inhibitions and thoughts of impossibilities and I make a die-hard resolve as I draw grace and strength from divine supernatural to FINISH WELL this year.

I AM FINISHING WELL AND LANDING GRACIOUSLY SAFE ON MY NEXT LEVEL IN THE COMING YEAR.
