AN HIGHWAY

Except you live very far away from our modest civilization; highways are not difficult to come by in this part of the world, specifically for the dominance of automobiles in our transport system. Highways are speed routes for vechiles, scarely with congestions. Road users are meant to abide by traffic rules and focus on their lanes to avoid event of accidents. Distractions on the highway might be disastrous. 

Highways are lined via forest regions, specifically those linking cities with distanced proximity. This often presents an unpalatable experience for automobile owners and users when mobile carriage mal-functions on their journey; getting helps in such situations might be sometimes difficult. 

Dear reader, at this juncture, I like to bring to fore a different highway to that which we are quite familiar with. There is another Highway, not actually for automobiles but for heavenly minded persons, that is Heaven's Highway- The Way of Holiness. "And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein." (Isaiah 35:8)

I believe you will agree with me, a way will always lead to a destination  and without using a way, a destination may not be reached. Just as we have highways connecting different places together here on earth, there is also an highway that leads, connects and lands us in Heaven, this is "...called The Way of Holiness." The same way we abide by traffic rules on the earthly highways to avoid accidents, the Highway to Heaven has its own guideposts for its users. 

Heaven's  Highway- The Way of Holiness will never accommodate the unclean (defiled, sinful, dirty and stained) person. It will only accommodate the upright "...but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men..." who are ready to walk in the Way with full consciousness of His demands even though they may be mentally, physically and emotionally weak but are ready to trust in God's Grace and anchor on Faith to fulfill the demands of the Way "...though fools, shall not err therein."

Do you desire Heaven as your eternal destination? You definitely must walk through its Highway- The Way of Holiness. 

Beloved, if you can use the earthly highways by sticking to its traffic rules; then, you can also journey to Heaven through its Highway. All you need is total dependence on God's Grace to keep clean and pure inwardly and outwardly as well as obey The Highway's guideposts. Proverbs  16:17  says "The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul."
