Revealing His Truth

I see a quite loaded verse of the scripture for turbulent times in the book of Isaiah, I started with it in the immediate past issue on TRR which was entitled: "FEAR THOU NOT". Let's see again, Isaiah 41:10 "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with thee right hand of my righteousness." Many of us might not have given particular attention to find out the meaning of DISMAYED; my friend, if u have not, let me tell you, it means to be worried or disappointed. You know what? Several matter arising this days have left many of us in serious state of worries, anxiety and of course confusion and disappointments such that we keep asking the probing and yet rethorical questions such as, "How do I get this done?", "Why me in this whole wide world?", "What have I done to deserve this?", "After all I have done, should I get this in tur...

In this world there are several things that may bring about fear. Some people may get afraid because of their failing strength, others may be afraid because of oppression and afflictions from the devil and his cohorts.  This one things I am confident about, God never abandon His own to suffer in the hands of the enemies. No wonder He said clearly in Isaiah 41:10, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed,for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee,yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."  Beloved, you have His word not to be afraid, then why should you be afraid and fearful. Let me drop this, most of the things associated with your fear are under the control of God and He is saying, I know those things you see and encounter might be threatening, but "fear thou not; for I am (that same God) is with you..." Then, tell me what else is the problem. Friend, throw away your fears for the Lord is with you. #Times_O...

Creation simply means the act of doing new things. One important thing I have learnt from God was that He spent the beginning to create new things. "In the beginning God created the heaven and earth" (Genesis 1:1). From this, we can learn that there is creative power associated with new beginnings. God could have created anything you wanted any time He chooses, but He choose the beginning. Like we are just starting the year, God expects you and I to venture into a creation business. Dear friend, create new things, engage new ideas, develop new methods, capture new styles...; that is how to create new things.      Beloved, don't waste the beginning of the year, there is a creation power in it. Set your goals, map out your plans and get started. Just as it happened in the beginning when the heavens and the earth was created, you can also create something. The truth is that many of us are just so familiar with certain verses of scripture such that we loose the ministry of such to our lives in the most crucial time of need. This is why at times we find ourselves depressed and weak in spirit; though with knowledge, yet made powerless by overfamiliarity. One of such scripture will defeat the force of familiarity as we explore its power and gain wisdom for this time. Genesis 1:1, " In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Very familiar, that you can even recite playfully, I suppose; yet with great mysteries that may never be entirely untied till eternity. This scripture presents a very instructive theme that I consider of great relevance to you, now that you just got a brand new opportunity to sail the routes of a blessed new year.
